A few weeks ago, I told you about a couple of Rigoni di Asiago products, and now I’m going to share a couple more.
After reading my first review, Rigoni di Asiago asked if I would like to try their organic honey and natural sweetener – of course I said yes! I loved the organic hazelnut spread (think Nutella but with a better taste and way healthier) and their organic marmalade is the best I have ever tasted!
I love that this company offers quality products that are non-GMO, Kosher certified and gluten free. Everything that I have tried has tasted amazing!
First up is their Mielbio Organic Italian Honey
Rigoni di Asiago honey is collected from selected Italian beehives. A natural food par excellence, honey requires careful processing to maintain its toning, vitalizing and soothing properties. Defined as “raw” honey because it is cold-processed (patented by Rigoni di Asiago) it is rich in vitamins, minerals, enzymes and organic acids as well as natural antibacterial and antibiotic properties.
They have several flavors of honey. I tried the Mielbio Organic Italian Wildflower Raw and Creamy Honey
Mielbio Flowers is the classic honey millefiori of northern and central Italy. It is great on toast or biscuits, and as a sweetener for yogurt and hot tea.
Light amber in color, the orange blossom solidifies during the year. It can be especially appreciated at breakfast and to sweeten herbal teas.
The taste is pleasantly sweet and full, reminiscent of almonds and orange zest. I loved this in my evening tea!
Next is their Organic Sweetener made with apple juice – Dolcedì’
I really like this sweetener – even better than Stevia. It isn’t overly sweet and has no aftertaste and it mixes well in both hot and cold drinks.
Dolcedì’ is a new, all-natural liquid sweetener that’s made from 100% organic apples and is a low-glycemic alternative to sugar and other sweeteners.
Dolcedì’ can be used any way you would use traditional table sugar or honey. Its neutral flavor enhances the taste of food and drinks without altering them. Dolcedì’ is also highly soluble in both cold and hot drinks and can be enjoyed with pancakes, on yogurt, in fruit salad, and in baking (note – I have not tested it in baking yet).
With 25% fewer calories than table sugar and higher sweetening power (you just need ½ tsp vs. 1 tsp granulated sugar)
Rigoni di Asiago Dolcedì’ is made from the concentrated and filtered sugar extracted from organic apples. It is certified USDA organic, non-GMO, gluten-free, vegan, and STAR-KOSHER.

Disclosure: Rigoni di Asiago sent samples for product testing, but all opinions are my own.
