BiPro USA sent me the product for review. However, all opinions are my own.
When you are lifting, it is important that you give your muscles adequate protein for repair and recovery. A post workout shake is a great way to do that. There are hundreds of protein powders on the market today – how do you know which one is right for you? My biggest piece of advice is to read the ingredient list. I prefer a whey protein that contains only natural ingredients.
Whey protein is an abundant source of branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs), which are used to stimulate protein synthesis. Research shows that when leucine is ingested in high amounts, such as with whey protein supplementation, there is greater stimulation of protein synthesis, which may speed recovery of stress of exercise. In other words, whey protein can aid in the repair and building of muscle stress and damage caused by exercise.
BiPro Protein Powder is rich in the amino acid Leucine, proven to be the building block needed for your lean muscle tissue. It is also free of unwanted ingredients and sweetened naturally with stevia and monk fruit.

BiPro sent me a canister of all 3 of their flavors; Chocolate, French Vanilla and Natural.
The Chocolate is a light flavor that will not overwhelm anything you mix it in. Personally, I would like to see a more “chocolately” flavor. I mix mine with water and it dissolves well.
The French Vanilla had a light flavor, not overpowering and no after taste of the stevia.
The Natural flavor was just as it sounds, no flavor (or minimal). For me, it worked best in a post workout shake with berries and bananas added. Personally, I just like a little flavor in my shakes. However, I do realize many people prefer to use non flavored powders, so this really is a personal preference to take into consideration when purchasing powders. This powder texture is a bit thick and you need to mix it with at least 6 ounces of water.
I used the chocolate to make some protein bites – they are delicious! They are great for a post workout treat.
Chocolate Chunk Peanut Butter Protein Bites
¼ cup + 1 tablespoon organic coconut flour
2 scoops chocolate protein powder
¼ cup all natural peanut butter (or your favorite nutbutter, room temp works best)
¼ cup honey
1 tablespoon real vanilla paste (or vanilla extract)
2 tablespoons dark chocolate cut into small chunks (or mini chocolate chips)
Mix coconut flour and protein powder in a bowl. Add in peanut butter, honey, and vanilla extract. Mix with fork, add in chocolate chunks, mix again. At this point, it’s going to be better if you use your hands to incorporate all the ingredients together.
Roll into 1” balls. You may have 15-18 balls depending on size.
Optional – roll balls in leftover chocolate shavings, coco or nuts. A chocolate nutbutter would make these even more chocolate-licious!
