I am not a person that will often wear work-out clothes while doing errands, I always feel a little under dressed. However, since I tested out MPG’s workout clothes, I could see that a-changing.
When the folks at Mondetta Performance Gear (MPG), an active lifestyle brand out of Winnipeg, Canada, offered to send me some of their workout gear to review, I jumped over to their website and took a look at their clothing line. I loved what I saw so I quickly took them up on their offer. They allowed me to choose the items that I wanted review, which was both awesome and overwhelming – how can a kid pick just the right piece of candy?
What did I choose?
The Persephone Tank is fitted for a flattering look, but is not tight or restricting; it moves in all the right places. The fabric is moisture wicking & quick drying, which meant it didn’t stick to my sweaty skin after my workout.
The Rumor Tank was as flattering as the Persephone, with a band at the bottom which was a nice contrast. It also stood up to my sweaty gym routine.
I took the Serene Jacket out on the beach with me. Beach weather can be challenging – the sun can be nice and warm while at the same time, the wind will have a little nip in it. This jacket kept me warm when needed, but after doing some lunges, jump squats and beach sprints, I felt nice and dry. The sleeve cuff has a thumb hole feature (love) and the hood has a hole to pull your ponytail through – I know I would appreciate this as well if I still had long hair!
The Nova Pant – omgosh – this is my new favorite workout pants I kid you not! No gapping in the back, no bunching, pinching, or any other annoying restrictions during squats, kicking, lunging, running or just leisurely strolling the beach.
